Republican Struggles To Respond When High Schooler Asks, ‘Why Is Trump So Orange?’

Admit it: You’ve asked yourself why Donald Trump looks the way he does. We all have.

Here’s the question I always ask when I see Trump: Why in the hell does his hair look like a bird’s nest that was exposed to hurricane-force winds? Is he going for that look? Wouldn’t it be better if he didn’t poof up what little hair he has in an effort to hide the fact that he’s going bald?

Oh, and there’s also Trump’s skin tone, which is vaguely reminiscent of a pumpkin that had a love child with a traffic cone. Granted, it’s a spray tan of some kind, but why does it look so fake?

That was the question at the forefront of a high schooler’s mind when he and his class visited the US Capitol.

The student asked Rep. Brian Jack (R-GA), “Why is [Trump] so orange?”

The congressman briefly lost the ability to speak and could only manage to reply, “Uh, that’s, you know what, it’s, it’s, it’s your perspective. It isn’t certainly mine. I just think he has a great tan.”

It’s your perspective? What other perspective is there? The guy looks like a freaking Valencia orange! How about we talk about that, congressman? After all, aren’t Republicans opposed to men wearing makeup? Isn’t that “grooming” children?

Of course, no one in the GOP wants to address the way Trump looks, let alone how he acts. They’re not comfortable admitting the obvious: The guy’s a fake who also happens to be incredibly vain. His insecurity is written all over him.

Others soon joined the debate on social media.

Someone get that kid a press pass and let him ask questions at the daily White House press briefing. Maybe then we’d get some answers to the questions we all have regarding President Cheeto.
