Republicans repeatedly swear that they aren’t bigoted or intolerant, but their actions speak louder than their words.
That was proven for the entire internet to see yesterday when the House Republican Conference posted this message on Twitter/X:
“House Republicans believe in every American’s potential to thrive by embracing the power of work. Los Republicanos en la Cámara creemos en que cada ciudadano americano tiene el potencial de prosperar y beneficiarse de las oportunidades de trabajo.”
Looking at the reaction to the post, you’d think House Republicans had just demanded Donald Trump be impeached and imprisoned for the rest of his life. And as you’d expect, many of the comments were disgustingly xenophobic.
