Lawrence O’Donnell Shares Video Of ‘Humiliated Clown’ Trump Admitting He’s A Coward

Despite all of his bluster, bragging, and attempts to appear macho, Donald Trump is little more than a coward hiding beneath the camouflage of a bully.

A recent backtrack by Trump is proof of that, according to MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell, who only needed one video of the so-called president to expose him as a waffling fool.

On his show Tuesday evening, O’Donnell pointed to comments Trump had made last week in which he suggested he might try to fire Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for failing to lower interest rates.

Specifically, Trump used social media to attack Powell, according to NPR.

“In a social media post, Trump complained that Powell is ‘always TOO LATE AND WRONG,’ and he insisted the Fed chairman’s ‘termination cannot come fast enough!'”

But when asked about Powell on Tuesday, Trump backed down after seeing the negative impact of his earlier remarks on the stock market.

“President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he has ‘no intention’ of firing Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell before his term leading the U.S. central bank ends next year.”

“’None whatsoever,’ Trump said in the Oval Office when asked to clarify that he did not seek Powell’s removal. ‘Never did.'”

Why the reversal? Because Trump realizes Powell is even more powerful than the president of the United States, and that made him have to eat his words.

“And so now the humiliated clown Donald Trump, who has been the subject of some of the finest economic editorial writing the Wall Street Journal has ever done, has decided that it’s time to back down and desperately assure Wall Street ‘I have no intention of firing him,’” O’Donnell explained.

Donald Trump is a faux tough guy with the spine of a jellyfish. He’s all talk and no action. Even he knows that a coward lurks deep inside his coal-black heart.
