A moment of unexpected honesty and hilarity occurred Tuesday evening at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner in Washington, D.C.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) was speaking to the gathered GOP lawmakers, but for some unknown reason he was YELLING.
“Hello, fellow Republicans! NO! HELLO FEBR– FEH– FELLOW REPUBLICANS! WHERE ARE YA? I know this is the uh, this is the cheap time. You get to hear from me. Then, you’re gonna get energy outta, STEVE SCALISE! And you’re gonna get some energy out of our speaker, Mike Johnson! But guess what! The show is Donald J. Trump. So get ready.”
However, it was what Emmer said next that caught the attention of the internet.
“President c*nt– Trump is counting on us!”
What did he say?! President C*nt? Well, you do have to give the man credit for honesty, even if it was accidental.
